Certificate 3 in Wall and Floor Tiling

Description

This course is for people who want to work in the wall and floor tiling trade. You will learn how to lay tiles on a variety of internal and external surfaces which may be horizontal, vertical, curved, sloping and twisted. You will receive training in the tools required for this work also learn about waterproofing wet areas, tile types, tile accessories, tile glues, tiling patterns and cement mortars.

Additional cost for protective clothing is approximately A$350.

Work placement:

Randwick College has close links with the wall and floor tiling industry, the Master Builders Association of NSW and the CFMEU (Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union) and will assist, where possible, in finding work experience placements for students.

1 year full time

Locations, tuition fees and intakes

Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials (if applicable) range from A$300 - $1,000 per course.
